"Lamb pepper pot patty was savory with a little sweetness, some spice and crumbly outer texture. It was great way to celebrate success with one of my goals today. I want to get the rest of meal spread but I will have to wait till next time."

"A Must -Visit Caribbean Gem in Jamaica, Queens! This Caribbean bakery is an absolute hit! From hot, flavorful West Indian dishes to an array of mouthwatering delicacies, this place truly hits the spot. Honestly, I was so excited (and maybe a little overwhelmed) by all the amazing options that I completely forgot to take photos! I tried the currant rolls, meat pies, and cakes—and let me tell you, nothing disappointed. Every bite was fresh, rich in flavor, and just what I was hoping for. I already know I’ll be making another trip to sample even more because this place is easily a landmark in its own right. My only suggestion? It would be great if prices were more prominently displayed, and the checkout process could use a little (okay, maybe a lot) more organization. But aside from that, hats off to the team—fantastic job! Looking forward to my next visit. Update : 2nd visit - took some pics & tried the doubles ( it’s ok - not too overwhelming and not too bland . It’s not gonna take you on a mental Caribbean Vacation but if that’s your hopes then better buy a plane ticket :)"

"The pastries are really good but I am yet to have a lunch special from here. The service is quick and the price is reasonable. We have had the salary, cheese rolls and pine tarts without complaints. They are fresh hot and tasty."

"Delicious tarts. Very reasonable prices and helpful staff. I tried 3 of the tarts; guava, pineapple, and cheese. All of the tarts were flaky and delicious. The cheese tart was surprisingly spicy and savory. For three tarts was $4.50 which is reasonable. Cash and credit are both accepted. No public bathroom available. Very limited spaces inside so not a dine-in location, but more of a takeaway spot. They do offer food for lunch and dinner and are open early for breakfast. However, there are limited options when going early like I did, which was around 8:30 AM. Definitely would come back and try more of the food. 01/2025"

"Kisses to the chef for inventing, the now legendary, PEPPERPOT PATTY. OMG amazing 10/10. The crust - flaky, buttery, soft. The meat inside - tenderism. Soon as you buss that ting open and the pepperpot smell hit you, there’s no going back. As a true Guyanese I can appreciate the authenticity of this patty. I also purchased fried fish, Mac & cheese and curry goat with white rice. My toddlers enjoyed the fish and mac. The fish is fresh & crunchy. The curry goat was decent. Definitely would recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for authentic GT food. There’s a plethora of options."
